About The Position

The QC Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the full quality control function across all stages of jewelry production. This includes developing QC protocols, ensuring adherence to company standards, executing quality audits, and guiding the QC team to ensure consistent product excellence. The QC Manager will collaborate with department heads across production, design, casting, polishing, and setting to resolve issues, streamline processes, and elevate product quality. Requirements

  • Experience in quality control within jewelry production.
  • Knowledge of jewelry components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to evaluate stones, settings, metalwork, assembly, durability, structural integrity, sizing, and overall finishing.
  • Understanding of product specifications including center stone parameters, metal standards, prong security, and symmetry.
  • Experience in developing and enforcing QC protocols, documentation standards, workflows, and inspection logs.
  • Skills in identifying defects, trends, or deviations and communicating corrective actions.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve quality-related issues and support root-cause analysis.
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to lead and participate in quality audits and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Experience in reporting and tracking QC metrics, KPIs, and inspection outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop the Quality Control team, providing mentorship, training, and performance oversight.
  • Coordinate daily QC operations and ensure adequate coverage to meet production timelines.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and perform inspections of finished jewelry, components, and in-process work to ensure compliance with R2Net quality standards.
  • Evaluate stones, settings, metalwork, assembly, durability, structural integrity, sizing, and overall finishing.
  • Ensure accuracy of product specifications including center stone parameters, metal standards, prong security, and symmetry.
  • Develop, refine, and enforce QC protocols, documentation standards, workflows, and inspection logs.
  • Identify defects, trends, or deviations and communicate corrective actions to production, casting, polishing, and setting teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional departments to resolve quality-related issues and support root-cause analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce rework, and optimize efficiency.
  • Lead and participate in quality audits and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and tracking of QC metrics, KPIs, and inspection outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Design, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams to align on quality standards and operational expectations.
  • Provide expert quality insights to support product development, process adjustments, and manufacturing decisions.
