This role is responsible for sampling, testing, plating, reading, and recording product test results, as well as troubleshooting out-of-spec results. The technician will ensure daily records are maintained, perform data entry, tracking, and interpretation, and follow QC Hold Procedures for out-of-specified products. The position requires adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), assisting in maintaining a 5-S rating of "A", and flexibility in working hours. Responsibilities also include equipment calibration and troubleshooting, participating in continuous improvement initiatives, daily meetings with the supervisor to discuss production issues, and reviewing all production records, including CCPs, daily. The role involves following up on customer complaints, corresponding with production, managing product specifications, and coordinating the HACCP team. Additionally, the technician will maintain and implement policies and procedures related to GMPs, Food Safety, and regulatory compliance, requiring exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. The ability to adapt effectively in a changing environment and communicate effectively for safety, quality, and efficiency is crucial. The role also demands the ability to manage multiple tasks related to food safety and regulatory compliance.
