About The Position

Production team members are responsible for a variety of manufacturing tasks, including mixing and milling operations, operating hose extrusion machinery, and operating equipment to finish and pack all hose prior to shipment. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is based at the plant in Bellefontaine, Ohio. The company does not require uniforms or steel toe shoes. Benefits are available, including vacation time after 6 months.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
Basic math and computer skills
Correctly use and interpret hand tools such as hose cutters, OD tape, plug gauge, etc.
Stand for long periods; push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs.
Work in non-temperature-controlled environments
Always wear PPE properly
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends
Successful completion of forklift certification
Strong teamwork and reliability

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent
Manufacturing experience: 1 year

Responsibilities

Following factory policies of Safety, Quality and Productivity
Employ established Standard Operating Procedures for machines, tooling, gauging and other equipment
Must be able to perform medium work: lifting 50 lbs. occasionally, 25 lbs. frequently and 10 lbs. constantly
Employ basic math skills of addition, subtraction and multiplication to accurately report production
Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition
Maintain reliable attendance
