About The Position

Prairie Farms Dairy in Dayton, OH is currently accepting applications for machine operators for our manufacturing plant. Possible roles include filler operators, mix makers, and plant relief. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality standards of our products, as well as the safe and efficient operation of equipment in the production department. After a training period, the candidate must be able to qualify on all operational aspects of each workstation they are trained on. The candidate will have some basic maintenance experience as well as some basic machine operating experience. Candidate must be able to pass the company pre-employment screening.

Requirements

Basic maintenance experience
Basic machine operating experience
Ability to pass company pre-employment screening
Requires standing for more than 50% of shift
Requires heavy lifting (up to 50 lb.)
Machine operation involves extreme hot or cold temperatures
Working in a wet environment
Working with chemicals (when covering 2nd shift)
