Requirements

High school diploma or general equivalent diploma.
Completion of basic math, blueprint reading, and gauge-reading training.
Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
Ability to communicate with supervisors and coworkers.

Responsibilities

Inspects product during manual or automatic clip/pack operations.
Packs product in containers and places them on skids.
Performs pre-operation checks for individual machines and work areas.
Conducts safety inspections for individual machines and associated equipment.
Operates clipper or pack station at optimal level to meet or exceed established daily production rates.
Inspects parts to meet established ISO requirements (e.g., labels, piece count, containers).
Supports functions and processes shop orders to meet established due dates.
Tracks and problem-solves materials used and ensures efficient equipment use to reduce cost.
Manages Work-In-Progress (WIP) and components (e.g., hardware, clips, washers, buckets, boxes).
Performs cycle counts as specified.
Participates in lean events and utilizes lean processes in daily duties.
Performs daily required Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on associated equipment.
Performs daily required 5S activities for the work area.
Performs daily activities associated with gathering and posting established metrics.
Accurately and timely records required data (e.g., Production, quality).
