About The Position

The Manufacturing Production Technician II is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment used to manufacture chain products and fittings. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot routine production issues while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. Candidates will initially train on 1st shift (6:00 AM to 4:00 PM) for approximately 3 to 6 months. Overtime may be required on Fridays based on business needs. Schedule may vary based on business needs.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
1 to 3 years of manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or related experience.
Mechanical aptitude and experience working with manufacturing equipment.
Ability to perform equipment setups and adjustments.
Experience using measuring and inspection tools.
Ability to identify and resolve routine production issues.
Ability to read work instructions and product specifications.
Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating production equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment used in forming, machining, threading, welding, heat treating, and finishing chain products.
Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
Conduct inspections using gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools.
Troubleshoot routine equipment and production issues.
Record production, downtime, and scrap information.
Maintain material identification and traceability.
Follow all safety and quality procedures.
