About The Position

At Sylvamo, we’re a team on a mission to sustain forests and renew ecosystems, while delivering on the promise of paper to educate, communicate and entertain the world. The Ticonderoga Mill, located in Adirondack Park, employs over 600 people and produces a variety of paper products. We are seeking entry-level production team members who have the abilities and aptitude to progress to the top job in each department. New employees begin in the Labor Pool where they meet our teams, gain training, learn the processes and orient to equipment during the first several weeks of employment. There is potential to earn more within the first 6 months, with a starting wage of $26.28/hr. effective June 1, 2026, and opportunities to make higher rates as you train and qualify. The position involves a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Employment history considered
• Willingness to work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces with proper safety training and protection)
• Willingness to work any shift and a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, holidays and/or weekends
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening, physical and background check.
