Manufacturing / Production Support Engineer

ADDMAN Engineering•New York, MO

About The Position

Lead and execute assigned manufacturing and engineering projects across machining sites. Support new program launches, transfers, and complex machining introductions, and drive cross-site engineering initiatives to completion within defined timelines and scope. Conduct manufacturability and producibility reviews, identify machining risks and mitigation strategies before production release, and support advanced machining strategies, including multi-axis and mill-turn applications. Lead continuous-improvement projects focused on cycle-time reduction, yield improvement, and scrap reduction; quantify and report measurable savings and operational impact; and support enterprise-level CI portfolio execution. Collaborate with NC Programming to standardize methods and improve programming efficiency. Support simulation validation, post-processor consistency, process optimization, and cross-site capacity balancing and programming coordination. Support deployment of CNC capital equipment, manufacturing automation, probing and in-process inspection strategies, NC post-processing standards, and digital workflows for quoting, quality, and manufacturing planning. Ensure adoption and operational integration across sites and develop and document standardized best practices. Serve as a technical liaison between enterprise engineering and plant operations. Travel to machining sites to support floor-level execution, facilitate knowledge transfer, and align best practices across locations.
