Manufacturing / Production Support Engineer

ADDMAN Engineering LLCGlen Burnie, MD
Onsite

About The Position

This role involves leading and executing manufacturing and engineering projects across various machining sites, supporting new program launches, transfers, and complex machining introductions, and driving cross-site engineering initiatives. The engineer will conduct manufacturability and producibility reviews, identify machining risks, and support advanced machining strategies. A key aspect is continuous improvement, leading projects for cycle time reduction, yield improvement, and scrap reduction, and reporting measurable savings. The position also requires collaboration with NC Programming to standardize methods, improve efficiency, and support simulation validation and process optimization. Furthermore, the role involves supporting the implementation of CNC capital equipment, manufacturing automation, probing strategies, NC post-processing standards, and digital workflows, ensuring their adoption and developing best practices. Finally, the engineer will serve as a technical liaison between enterprise engineering and plant operations, traveling to sites for floor-level execution and facilitating knowledge transfer.
