About The Position

The Manufacturing Production Supervisor oversees product manufacturing during the second shift, ensuring products conform to specifications and that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are followed. The role organizes and coordinates departmental workflow, recommends improvements to operational efficiency and safety, and contributes to cost-reduction efforts.

The supervisor drives continuous improvement to meet quality and production goals by developing and implementing improvements to manufacturing and support procedures, practices, production methods, and product quality. The role also develops and leads a high-performing team by setting expectations and monitoring individual and team performance. Supervisory duties include interviewing, hiring, training, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

• One-year certificate from a college or technical school.
• Three years of supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the plastics industry.
• Experience using the IQMS system.
• Technical experience with EBM and IM machines.
