About The Position

We are hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Production Operator in Taunton, MA, to support the assembly, fabrication, inspection, and integration of advanced electronic and mechanical defense systems in manufacturing and pre-production environments. This role requires experience with electronics assembly, cable harnessing, hand soldering, electrical testing, hardware integration, schematic interpretation, ERP/work order systems, and prototype manufacturing support for mission-critical aerospace and defense technologies.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Ability to perform more advanced loading and configuration of customer/standard software on customer devices
  • Ability to accurately complete process paperwork and enter data into the applicable work order management system
  • Solid computer, communication, and time management skills
  • Solid knowledge of measuring/test equipment and math

Nice To Haves

  • Strong technical aptitude in cable assembly, including soldering, crimping, and interpreting schematics and work instructions
  • Experience working in manufacturing or production environments, with knowledge of measuring/test equipment and basic math
  • High attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity and ability to perform precise, quality-driven work
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software for documentation, cable marking, and ERP/work order tracking
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and rework assemblies using accepted industry practices (e.g., J-STD-001 preferred)
  • Adaptability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, and commitment to continuous improvement, including identifying opportunities to leverage AI
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records, follow safety protocols, and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

  • Perform moderately complex project tasks and assignments, ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
  • Perform fabrication or inspection functions in a research, production, or pre-production environment by reading and interpreting moderately complex schematics and drawings.
  • Following more advanced methods, techniques, and sequences of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on subassemblies and units.
  • Build or integrate hardware for prototypes, subassemblies, or systems.
  • Perform moderately complex electrical tests.
  • Perform more complex rework and refurbishment of hardware and systems.
