About The Position

This role involves tending to one or more machines or processes, ensuring they operate correctly, and performing quality assurance checks. The associate will also be responsible for transporting materials, following instructions, and adhering to safety regulations. Key responsibilities include maintaining process integrity through documentation, handling hazardous waste if required, troubleshooting minor issues, and supporting engineers and operators. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Computer skills preferred to access process records, p-procedures and other documents
  • Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervision
  • Ability to read and comprehend process instructions
  • Ability to record pertinent process information as required
  • U.S. citizen or national; U.S. lawful, permanent resident; Refugee; or Asylee under relevant U.S. laws.
  • Must not fall into the categories of persons prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition under the Gun Control Act.

Responsibilities

  • Tends to one or more machines or processes as directed.
  • Ensures machines are operating properly and calls technician or leadership if required.
  • Performs quality assurance checks as policy/procedures direct.
  • Transports raw material, semi-finished goods and finished goods as required to ensure efficient process flow.
  • Follows oral and written instructions, wears protective equipment where and when directed and obeys all plant and safety rules and regulations.
  • Supports the facility's mission, safety and ISO goals and directives.
  • Attends shift, department and plant meetings in a timely manner.
  • Maintains process integrity with proper documentation and observance of process records.
  • May handle hazardous waste, including labeling, inspecting, storing, and transferring.
  • Troubleshoots minor issues, and performs detect checks on machines.
  • Follow oral and written instructions.
  • Assists engineers as needed to include troubleshooting products and processes.
  • Provide support to Operators and Technicians with training to ensure process integrity and that 'best practices' are being utilized.
