The Manufacturing Production Adjuster supports safe, quality-focused production by maintaining and adjusting equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and helping minimize downtime and waste. The role may backfill for the production supervisor, operate machines as needed, and coach and assist operators during machine issues or maintenance. The schedule is four days on and four days off, working 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a 48-hour week. Pay is $34 per hour. The posting lists a $2,000 sign-on bonus, perfect-attendance bonus, referral bonus, production bonus, and 11 paid holidays.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude.
Have adequate tools to work on machinery.
Ability to stand continuously for a 12-hour shift.
Willingness to work some Saturdays as needed.
Ability to adhere to company policy, safety rules, and regulations, and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

Adhere to and enforce safety rules and lockout procedures.
Ensure understanding of and adherence to product quality metrics.
Ensure machine guards are in place and in good working condition.
Troubleshoot and repair most mechanical breakdowns and make adjustments.
Assist with or lead preventive maintenance as needed.
Backfill for the production supervisor as needed.
Identify and execute opportunities to improve daily production rates while reducing waste.
Check and enforce daily equipment lubrication.
Provide first aid or assistance when needed.
Assist operators when machines are down to minimize waste and downtime.
Keep personnel busy while a machine is down.
Operate any machine when necessary.
Continuously improve job skills.
Coach operators on tasks within their skillsets and expectations.
Assist with training by working closely with operators during machine issues or maintenance.
