About The Position

Texas Instruments is seeking an energetic, self-directed, and highly motivated engineer with a passion for process improvement. The role provides opportunities to drive continual improvement across manufacturing procedures and processes. The module Process Engineering team works to improve quality, cost, and manufacturing by reducing variation. The engineer supports manufacturing operations in a high-volume 300mm wafer fab running Analog Technologies, helping maintain production flow and minimize cycle time. The position also supports manufacturing ramps through equipment and process startup, process experiments, data analysis, and problem resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a semiconductor environment or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control, and process release strategies.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
  • Strong time-management skills that enable on-time project delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and drive for results.

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and implement improved manufacturing methods, procedures, and processes to improve efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality.
  • Implement project or improvement plans in areas including efficiency improvements, cost reduction, quality improvement programs, new product support, and other process improvements.
  • Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support continuous production flow and minimize cycle time in a high-volume 300mm wafer fab running Analog Technologies.
  • Identify systematic problems related to process or equipment sources and continuously communicate findings to engineering staff.
  • Support manufacturing ramps by executing equipment and process startup and process experiments (SWRs).
  • Participate in data analysis and problem resolution.
