Lead in identification and implementation of effective solutions to improve the manufacturing process and capabilities. Develop and redesign facility layouts; promote continuous process improvements. Develop plans for timely and effective project completion by considering all required information from customers, engineering, tooling, quality and production in the planning stages. Create cost estimates and quotes for new and/or revised products. Initiate quote according to specifications, determining process methods, required equipment and optimum rates. Develop and maintain all supporting documents of activities in an organized manner for easy retrieval for review and consideration. Develop and implement employee training on new processes and equipment with documentation to assure optimum operation and employee safety.
