About The Position

The Manufacturing Process Engineer drives continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency. This role partners with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize manufacturing processes, implement new technologies, solve production challenges, and support day-to-day manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • BS in Industrial, Mechanical, Material Science, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Regardless of discipline, candidate must demonstrate a high degree of mechanical aptitude
  • 2 years of experience as an engineer, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar AutoCAD software experience required
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
  • Ability to travel 10% between North American facilities
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean manufacturing and setup reduction techniques.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience with additive manufacturing, laser cutting, routing, and related fabrication technologies.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, including experience with experimental design and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce manufacturing costs and improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Identify and implement best practices across PCNA sites.
  • Support production through problem-solving, waste elimination, and process optimization.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain manufacturing fixtures, tooling, and process aids.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement process, equipment, and technology improvements.
  • Lead capital projects on time and within budget, with clearly defined specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Support the introduction, validation, and launch of new manufacturing processes, equipment, and decorating technologies.
  • Develop work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve product quality, manufacturing, and process-related issues.
  • Use data-driven methods to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Implement process and equipment improvements that enhance workplace safety and reduce errors.
