About The Position

Participate in the development and implementation of technical solutions applied to manufacturing processes, seeking the reduction of recurring and non-recurring industrial costs focusing on the improvement of quality and efficiency of resources. Participate in the development of budget, planning and control of resources necessary to the implementation of new projects and programs, under supervision.

Requirements

Has the ability to interpret and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Has knowledge of process to define and write procedures.
Prior experience working with Manufacturing Engineering
Provide input to implement technical solutions according to interfacing with other areas (Logistics / Production / Quality / Engineering / Sites / Clients / Suppliers)
Has the ability to solve technical problems by applying methodologies & tooling
Can execute actions in planning according as required for quality
High School Diploma
Experience working in a Manufacturing Engineering environment
Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing position
Organized and detailed oriented
Read, write and conversational English required
Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.

Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field preferred

Responsibilities

Generate documents and work orders
Analyze processes, identifying flow of information, mapping value chain and detecting improvement opportunities
Structuring of opportunities for validation
Participate in the development and implementation of technical solutions by interfacing with other areas (Logistics / Production / Quality / Engineering / Sites / Clients / Suppliers)
Apply engineering methodologies & tooling to solve technical problems
Technical dispositioning and attending to documentation
Support production / final assembly line. Prioritization of work applicable to the technician’s responsibility.

Incorporates Lean and P3E processes and concepts into daily activities.
Strive for continuous improvement to processes and procedures.
