The position also entails working with leadership on priorities and schedules, leading problem-solving efforts for efficient work execution, and providing input on equipment and tooling needs for performance improvements. Additionally, the role includes managing direct reports through performance reviews and development, ensuring accuracy in time reporting and material usage, and overseeing on-time delivery by providing job status updates. The Manufacturing Plant Manager is responsible for preparing and analyzing production reports, controlling costs to meet budget goals, communicating work policies to employees, and reporting issues on drawings to relevant departments. This role also involves recognizing employee achievements, managing safety policies and programs with HR, supporting manufacturing quality standards, overseeing rework and non-conformance reporting, and identifying training needs for direct reports and shop employees. Other duties as assigned.
