Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work, preferably in a production or industrial setting.
  • Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Physical capability to perform manual cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Familiarity with OSHA and other relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Certification in industrial cleaning or sanitation practices.
  • Basic knowledge of chemical handling and storage procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning and janitorial duties in production areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal.
  • Sanitize equipment, workstations, and high-touch surfaces to comply with hygiene and safety standards.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to minimize contamination risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and facilities teams to coordinate cleaning schedules that minimize disruption to operations.
