About The Position
Manufacturing Production Planning & Control work focuses on managing production to optimize the use of resources and meet production schedules and standards. This includes planning and controlling production schedules and coordinating material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials, as well as estimating and scheduling the human resources, tools, and equipment needed for production. The work may also involve researching, evaluating, and recommending changes to production processes, systems, technology, or equipment to enhance the organization’s production capabilities. A Support 1 is an entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience. Work is routine or follows standard procedures, is closely supervised, and involves communicating information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
