About The Position

You will be the Manufacturing Planner for the Production Planning and Control team. Our team is responsible for collaboration with other functions to ensure system accuracy and production schedules that meet the commitments to our customers. As the Manufacturing Planner you will be responsible for driving production planning excellence and maintaining schedule integrity.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in a related discipline
Past experience in any of the following areas: Make/Buy/BOM Planning, Supply Chain, or equivalent or experience in one area with an understanding of the other two.
Proficient knowledge of computer systems and programs including SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel).
Strong organization and communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and/or supply chain management.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance, therefore selected candidate must be a US Citizen.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP ERP systems as well as materials management.
Strong data management and reporting skills including Tableau and BI.
Production Control Experience.
Windchill and MPMLink experience,
Previous working experience with engineering drawings and parts lists.
Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS).

Responsibilities

Maintain and update Material Part Numbers and collaborate with engineering to ensure Bill of Material accuracy, reflecting current design intent.
Schedule and ensure integrity of the MRP system for all assigned assemblies, reporting procurement/build status.
Manage kit issues, hardware fulfillment, and prioritize workflow in partnership with engineering, integrated planning, finance and quality.
