Manufacturing / Physical Distribution Process Engineer - Mehoopany
About The Position
We are looking for entry-level engineers to improve machinery and process systems in dynamic work environments. Our manufacturing and physical distribution center engineers are crucial in ensuring our products meet the highest standards. This role offers meaningful work from day one, where you will lead projects and guide teams impacting the production of globally recognized branded products. You will be involved in identifying and driving out losses through standards and system development, supporting daily production line activities, and building long-term capability within your area, systems, and technicians. The role may involve working in Manufacturing (Making, Packing, Safety, or Health Safety & Environment) or Physical Distribution Centers and/or Warehouses.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering preferred, other engineering degrees may be considered)
- Willingness to travel on the job on occasion
- Willingness to relocate during your career
- Less than 2 years relevant work experience
- Ability to problem solve and collaborate in teams
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn new skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and analytical skills
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment with technicians and equipment
Responsibilities
- Identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and eliminating losses and inefficiencies
- Delivery and start-up of new equipment, initiatives, and projects
- Collaborating with technical experts, other functions, and other manufacturing sites to create the best solutions
- Creating learning programs and coaching and training technicians
- Creating and improving standards to enable us to achieve the performance targets for the production line
- Understanding and working with state-of-the-art robotics and automated equipment
