About The Position

This full-time role supports the manufacturing department by moving finished product and making shipping containers to improve workflow and on-time delivery. The position is based at Fastenal’s manufacturing facility at 61 Barnes Industrial Park North, Wallingford, Connecticut. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. A flexible schedule may be offered after onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Requirements

• Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and potentially up to 100 pounds.
• Pass the required drug screen in the United States, Puerto Rico, or Guam.

Responsibilities

• Move finished product and make shipping containers.
• Load product onto trucks.
