About The Position

The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for following work instructions, inspecting and assembling parts, and packing products while maintaining quality standards and a safe working environment. This role requires the ability to work at a required pace, complete paperwork accurately, and understand the company's Quality Management System. Operators will also be expected to maintain housekeeping standards, adhere to safety regulations, and be flexible to work in different departments based on business needs. Strong teamwork, cooperation, and the ability to work overtime when requested are essential.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, High School Equivalency Certificate, Vocational/Technical Training, Professional Certifications, Military Service, Skills Based Requirements or Relevant Work Experience
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, background check and post offer physical.
• Must be able to see, read and follow instructions/procedures/policies; such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to understand and compute basic math problems.
• Ability to stay focused on each task, achieve production goals with the willingness to learn additional jobs.
• Ability to work alone or a team while maintaining production flow.
• Ability to train others with skills mastered.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to work overtime when requested.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and dimensional visual quality requirements.
• Inspect, assemble parts & pack product using assorted tools, while working at a required pace.
• Complete all written portions of required paperwork.
• Understand and use the Mack Molding Quality Management System.
• Maintain Mack's standard of housekeeping in all areas.
• Follow safety rules & regulations.
• Work in different areas or departments depending on business needs and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork and cooperation.
