This role will provide a full range of manufacturing support within the Duct Strip area at our Urbana, OH facility.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Comprehend and apply basic reading, arithmetic and geometry (testing required)
Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as a ruler, tape measure, caliper and micrometer (testing required)
Physical requirements – lift and manipulate unwieldy parts weighing between 50 - 100 lbs, depending on machine and work in a non climate controlled environment.
Ability to multi-task and work with little supervision in a team environment
Ability to train others and willingness to cross train

Responsibilities

Set up machine(s) per customer/order specification (make-to-order products)
Troubleshoot and adjust machine controls and components
Read and apply job specifications
Communicate with other departments to request raw materials and supplies to eliminate downtime
Document production data and complete required quality and safety inspections
Monitor machine operation to detect and correct malfunctions
Maintain inventory control, including SAP transactions
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and complete routine equipment maintenance
Other duties may be required
