About The Position

The Manufacturing Operator inspects parts, monitors processes, assembles plastic components, and packages finished components at Newell Brands’ Reedsburg, Wisconsin location. The role follows manufacturing, quality, safety, and housekeeping procedures while supporting production goals and assigned improvement initiatives. This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is designated as a third-shift role.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Complete and pass required medical screening.
Basic math and reading skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to understand procedures.
Ability to adapt to changing manufacturing priorities, including overtime schedules.
Ability to meet and consistently perform at required manufacturing rates.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand for up to 90% of the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend and twist frequently and have unrestricted use of the upper extremities.
Ability to push or pull up to 200 pounds.

Responsibilities

Follow written GMP and safety policies and procedures.
Perform changeover duties as required.
Complete assigned Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks.
Accurately complete required reporting, including data entry.
Fill and empty boxes, totes, and gaylords, and stack them by hand on pallets.
Monitor part quality and machine performance rates, and complete required production reporting documentation.
Perform assigned routine quality checks using visual quality standards.
Participate in PEAK initiatives as directed.
Maintain a clean work area and clean machines and equipment while sustaining 6S principles.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Complete all job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and company guidelines and policies.
