About The Position

Golden Pet Manufacturing is hiring a Machine Operator for its Raw Forming operation in Richfield, Wisconsin. The position works the third shift, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., and pays $21 or more per hour. The operator sets up and runs production machinery, performs safety checks, adjusts equipment to meet product specifications, troubleshoots malfunctions and jams, and cleans equipment while assisting with preventive maintenance. The role requires attention to safety and quality policies and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Ability to constantly stand, walk, reach with hands, and stoop or kneel.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Strong teamwork mentality and willingness to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience operating machinery.
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience with an ERP system, a food or pet food manufacturing facility, and/or PLC interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate several production machine tools throughout the production process.
• Learn and operate assigned machinery within the manufacturing plant.
• Perform safety checks throughout the shift.
• Adjust machine components according to finished-product specifications.
• Troubleshoot operating problems and adjust machinery in response to malfunctions or jams.
• Clean machinery and assist with preventive maintenance.
• Follow safety and quality policies and procedures.
