About The Position

Alleima Special Metals, a production unit in Kennewick, WA, is a leader in manufacturing of seamless titanium tubing used in the aerospace and recreational markets, and zirconium tubing used in the nuclear industry. We are seeking candidates that are looking for career growth potential; that are dependable, and safety focused and have a can-do attitude. No experience is necessary. We will train you. After on the job training, the Manufacturing Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery and material handling equipment on the production floor. Machinery ranges from simple machines to complex computerized equipment including overhead cranes, straightening machinery, lathes, vacuum blasting, cutting machinery, and hand tools such as grinders and calipers.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work in a loud manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• A high school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating machinery and material handling equipment on the production floor.
• Operating machinery ranging from simple machines to complex computerized equipment including overhead cranes, straightening machinery, lathes, vacuum blasting, cutting machinery, and hand tools such as grinders and calipers.
