About The Position

Ensures all lenses and job tray work tickets are properly seated into job trays prior to generator processing. Uses touch screen display control functions to perform jobs. Clears minor errors pertaining to production and correctly places unit into automatic loading position. Examines and replaces tools used in generator processing. Performs support functions as necessary within the generator area. Performs general daily and weekly maintenance.

Requirements

• Conventional Surface Tech Endorsement for chemical handling
• Ability to read English in order to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• General mathematical skills to include basic adding, subtracting, multiplication and division
• Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions
• General problem solving abilities

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
• One (1) to three (3) years of related manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.
• Perform process steps as defined by area/department.
• Prioritize tray processing based on FIFO.
• Properly prepare tray for processing.
• Visually inspect lens for defects.
• Ability to diagnose, reset and monitor operation machine errors as needed.
• Ability to communicate and escalate with peers and leadership.
• Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility.
• Practice and comply with all requirements to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
