About The Position

The purpose of this job is to provide support to the secondary operations, processing tubing after extrusion, variety of inspections, including cutting, packaging, and making product available to ship to the customers.

Requirements

Ability to interpret drawings
Ability to follow precise directions
Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner
Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals
1-2 years of experience, equivalent to, and with basic measurement experience (centimeters and inches).
Close vision (20% or less)
Color vision ability to identify and distinguish colors
Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationship)
Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.

Responsibilities

Support the Extrusion Department breaks/lunches – Collecting duties only.
Trained in all safety procedures
Able to complete all required documentation
Material identification, comprehension and management
Basic math skills
General quality standards/awareness
Moderate supervision required
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing - GDPs
Performs other required duties as needed in addition to the essential duties and responsibilities described above
Inspection using guidewires/mandrels
Inspect 100% standard tubing (shafts, etc)
Cutting standard tubing
Setting up and running Accu-Cutter
Preparing packages for shipment (inner and outer bags)
Manual bag sealer w/heating element
Maintains standards for housekeeping and safety.
