About The Position

This role is responsible for the operation and set-up of less complex machinery and/or support for more complex machinery, as well as the adjustment and assembly of standard sub-assemblies and assemblies in electrical equipment and/or support for non-standard sub-assemblies and assemblies in electrical equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of High School completion.
• Minimum of 1 year in an industrial manufacturing environment or similar.
• Use of tools (e.g., drill, etc.).
• Follow basic procedures and blueprints.
• Basic use of email and simple web pages/forms.

Nice To Haves

• Associate Technical Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic and less complex machines in the manufacturing area.
• Support the operation of more complex machines in the manufacturing area under close supervision.
• Observe machine operations to ensure they meet specifications safely and with quality.
• Maintain records of inspection and manufacturing execution, safety, and/or quality.
• Use various tools, such as impact guns, pneumatic screwdrivers, and drills to perform assembly of electrical equipment.
• Work under close supervision in assembly based on models, samples, or diagrams.
• Observe good cleaning, quality, and safety procedures and maintain equipment, tools, and the work area clean and organized by performing 5S tasks.
• Lift 35 pounds with reasonable accommodations as needed.
• Perform other relevant manufacturing tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
