About The Position

Axalta Coating Systems in Fort Madison, Iowa, is looking for a qualified Control Room Operator - Rotating shift. The selected candidates will be required to perform a variety of duties such as: Monitor and operate equipment and facilities, including field equipment, ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures. Maintain safety standards at all times and initiates and follows emergency procedures when necessary. Perform filtration and filling tasks as required in process and final quality tests. Perform minor maintenance functions within their operating area and within their level of expertise. Rotates through various roles within the area of responsibility & be available to work overtime. Perform computer transactions that are required of the role. Work in a self-managed team environment with Lead Operator’s. All Control Room Operator job opportunities will work a 7 day a week 12-hour rotating shift schedule (Average 42hr. /wk.).

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years Manufacturing experience.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing experience
Previous experience operating fork trucks
Working knowledge of personal computers
Capability to learn quickly and work in a self-directed team environment
