About The Position

Lead and develop maintenance personnel to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of manufacturing equipment, utilities, facilities, and infrastructure. Responsible for equipment uptime, preventive and predictive maintenance execution, continuous improvement initiatives, maintenance planning, and workforce development.

Requirements

  • BS/BA and 2 years of relevant experience or 6+ years of relevant experience leading teams of people in a high-volume manufacturing or logistics setting in lieu of a degree
  • 2-4 years of leadership experience coaching and/or supervising employees to achieve high levels of performance and engagement required
  • Experience in an operational environment; i.e. manufacturing, distribution, or transportation required
  • Knowledge and application of Lean/Continuous improvement tools and principles required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office application required
  • An attached resume is required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or Business Management
  • Experience with CNC machining equipment repair including servo drives, ball screws, and machine geometry
  • Hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems experience
  • PLC troubleshooting knowledge
  • Robotics and automation experience
  • Predictive maintenance technologies experience

Responsibilities

  • OSHA and DTNA safety compliance, environmental requirements, lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space, and contractor safety programs
  • Equipment reliability initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Capital planning and lifecycle replacement strategies
  • Repair versus replace decisions to optimize asset costs
  • Preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies
  • Corrective actions targeted at preventing downtime events and recurrent failures
  • Root cause failure analysis for major equipment failures
  • Accurate and efficient use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Management of work order backlog, PM compliance and asset history records
  • Performance evaluations and development planning
  • Planning of work schedules, assignments and personnel.
  • Maintain employee performance records, training records, timecards, and vacation schedules.
