The Texas Institute for Electronics (TIE) is a University of Texas at Austin-supported semiconductor consortium focused on developing and executing a state-of-the-art 3D Heterogenous Integration manufacturing technology roadmap. TIE provides critical pilot manufacturing capabilities to address national security needs and catalyze domestic economic growth. With significant funding from the US DoD and the state of Texas, TIE is at the forefront of creating cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes. This role is based in Austin, Texas, a vibrant and innovative city. The Manufacturing Operations Manager will lead end-to-end manufacturing operations of a semiconductor advanced packaging fabrication facility, with full accountability for wafer lot starts, cleanroom readiness, material flow, tool availability, and workforce execution. This role drives safe, disciplined, and high-yield manufacturing through rigorous operational controls, structured material and spares management, and tight coordination between production, engineering, facilities, and supply chain teams.
