2026 Manufacturing Operations Intern
About The Position
The Manufacturing Operations Intern will join our Operations team in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves assisting with maintaining and updating GagePack software records and databases, supporting the organization and cleanup of SQL table data, verifying calibration, tooling, and asset information for accuracy, and creating/maintaining reports, queries, and documentation. The intern will also help troubleshoot software and data issues, support process improvement initiatives related to data management, work with operations and engineering personnel to understand business needs, and help document workflows, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field
- Basic understanding of SQL databases and relational tables
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to learn new software systems quickly
- Good communication and teamwork
- Interest in manufacturing, operations, or business systems preferred
- SQL querying
- Data analysis and validation
