About The Position

This post is for manufacturing-based roles in Hillsboro, Oregon, Genentech/Roche’s only Drug Product manufacturing facility in North America. These roles will fall under the disciplines of Process Engineer, Automation Engineer, Asset/Equipment Engineer and Validation Engineer. As an intern, you will perform various tasks under the guidance and mentorship of your manager. You will be expected to attend meetings, read independently on relevant topics, follow a training schedule set by your supervisor, and perform tasks independently as appropriate. You will also be expected to summarize the purpose of your work and any findings, and you will present future recommendations in the form of an oral and poster presentation. The Hillsboro Technical Operations (HTO) facility in Hillsboro, Oregon, is a Drug Product manufacturing site that includes Component Prep & Compounding, Liquid/Lyophilized Filling, Automated/Manual Inspection, Packaging/Finished Products, and Distribution. This location is currently experiencing growth, with opportunities to support process optimization and the implementation of new capabilities and technologies. HTO is a critical part of a global network of leading expertise and high-performing pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, ensuring the reliable supply of medicine to millions of patients.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student) OR have attained a Bachelor's Degree (not currently enrolled in a graduate program) OR be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student) OR have attained a Master's Degree.
Majors: Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Biomedical, etc.), Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related technical field.
