Entry Level or Associate Manufacturing Operations Analyst
About The Position
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level or Associate (Level 1 or 2) Manufacturing Operations Analyst to support the Direct Attack program in Saint Charles, MO! In Direct Attack, we produce a variety of munitions at high rates for US and foreign customers. We have mature, high-volume production and production programs going through development. These analysts will primarily support Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) production by collecting and delivering production as-built data to our customers. They will also support the overall Direct Attack production system by supporting Tier meetings, continuous improvement initiatives, and Lean/5S+ activities. It is a great opportunity to learn the Boeing Production System, develop Lean/5S+ skills, and utilize the Boeing Problem Solving Method.
Requirements
- High school diploma or higher
- Experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations
- Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Level 2)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years’ experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years’ experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
- 3+ years’ experience using Lean+ and/or Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools

- Conduct assessments of processes and practices against applicable standards and criteria (Level 2)
- Provide limited feedback on assessment results and identified gaps (Level 2)
- Support the organization in implementing strategies and plans (Level 2)
