Requirements

Direct experience in a manufacturing environment required in roles such as production supervisor, operations analyst, or production manager.
Demonstrable experience managing teams, overseeing production processes, and implementing process improvements required.
Specific knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and relevant regulations required.

Nice To Haves

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering (industrial, manufacturing, mechanical), business administration, or operations management preferred; Equivalent years of prior relevant experience considered.
Certifications like Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMEng), Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Six Sigma Green Belt a plus.

Responsibilities

Enforcing safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures to ensure products meet established standards.
Creating and managing production schedules, coordinating resources (labor, materials, equipment), and optimizing workflows to meet production targets. Collaborates directly with Purchasing, Planning and Scheduling to meet production schedules.
Hiring, training, and supervising production staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
Identifying areas for improvement in the production process, implementing changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve on time performance.
Working with Maintenance and Operators to ensure equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently and coordinating preventative maintenance as needed.
Overseeing inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring adequate supply and minimizing waste.
Generating production reports, analyzing data, and providing insights to the facility leadership team.
Working with other departments, such as HSE, Quality, Engineering, and Procurement, to ensure smooth production operations.
Focuses on enhancing individual and collective performance which includes developing strategies and activities to improve skills, knowledge, teamwork, and overall effectiveness.
Champion facility goals for Quality, Safety, Innovation and Cost - seek opportunities to provide feedback on process improvements, cost savings, and opportunities to work more efficiently and/or safely.
Remain open to feedback and collaboration with other departments and business units.
