About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking First-Line Manufacturing Managers (Level K) to support the 777 Final Assembly Interiors team in Everett, Washington. First Line Leaders joining the 777 Final Assembly Interiors team will have the exciting challenge in 2026 to start the first full builds of the best interiors in the industry. The candidates hired off this requisition will be leading the teams working seat installation and customer presentations on 2nd shift, subject to change based on business needs. Unwavering focus on safety, quality, and compliance is mandatory, and a passion for lean and process improvement is preferred to help the team rapidly come down the learning curve to meet required unit hour and flow performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership"
  • 1+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace
  • Must be adaptable and able to execute with urgency
  • Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data
  • 1+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)

Responsibilities

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees
