About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking First-Line Manufacturing Managers (Level K) to support the 777 Fuselage Assembly Center in Everett, Washington. This manager position requires you to have a minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership". You will also need 1+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment and 3+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace. Must be willing and able to work any shift. The specific programs and options available may vary. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. The summary pay range is $126,000 - $154,000.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership"
1+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace
Must be willing and able to work any shift
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data
1+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)
Must be adaptable and able to execute with urgency
Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles
