About The Position

This position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. The role involves utilizing industrial mechanical knowledge to maintain a high-speed can manufacturing line. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and modifying all industrial mechanical systems, using precision measuring tools, and working with close tolerances up to .0010. The technician will also collaborate with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalency
Ability to learn the use of SPC and to utilize it as a tool for continuous improvement
A commitment to safety

Technical school degree or certification in a related field is a plus

Responsibilities

Utilize your industrial mechanical knowledge in maintaining a high-speed can manufacturing line
Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify all industrial mechanical systems

Work with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity

Benefits

Starting pay is $30.03/hour, with overtime available
Only work 84 hours every two weeks but earn 76 hours of straight pay and 8 hours of scheduled overtime every two weeks
$0.25/hr increase every 6 months for the first two years
Quarterly bonus based on plant performance
Additional quarterly attendance bonus

Work 50% of the year
