About The Position

Radius Aerospace– Hot Springs is a leading manufacturer of sheet metal parts and assemblies used in the aviation industry. We utilize a wide range of metal forming techniques and special manufacturing processes, servicing the commercial, military, regional jet, helicopter, and general aviation markets. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong HVAC experience to support our aerospace manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility systems, production equipment, HVAC systems, and other mechanical and electrical systems critical to a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who understands the importance of equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, safety, and attention to detail in a precision manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or facility maintenance experience.
  • Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Valid Driver's License required

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • HVAC certification, EPA certification, or applicable state/local licensing is a plus.
  • Electrical License/Training preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility and manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and related building systems.
  • Monitor and maintain HVAC systems to support appropriate environmental conditions for manufacturing operations.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment problems.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests to minimize production downtime.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance according to established schedules.
  • Maintain and repair pumps, motors, compressors, fans, conveyors, and other facility or production-support equipment.
  • Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, including motors, controls, sensors, switches, and electrical components.
  • Assist with plumbing, compressed air, building systems, and general facility repairs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
  • Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend corrective or preventative solutions.
  • Work with outside contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are required.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, environmental requirements, and applicable OSHA and industry standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability, energy efficiency, safety, and facility performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
