About The Position

We are looking for the next addition to our award-winning team!! We are looking for a reliable Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to boost production by ensuring all equipment functions correctly and receives regular maintenance on 1st shift; 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Thursday. Overtime may be offered on Friday or Saturday based on the company's needs.

Requirements

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, this included THC/Marijuana
  • 1+ year experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment, or relevant progressive work experience
  • Must be proficient in the following fields: HVAC, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, pipe fitting, plumbing, and welding
  • Superior attendance

  • Comfortable using hand tools and light power tools
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing technologies

Responsibilities

  • Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all plant equipment and machinery.
  • Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all machines.
  • Ensure smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment; install new equipment, as directed.
  • Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment to identify problems.
  • Have a full understanding of lockout/tag out (LOTO) procedures and safety protocols.
  • Be proficient at measuring, aligning, and adjusting essential components of equipment.
  • Read blueprints and schematics.
  • Rebuild electrical and pneumatic power tools.
  • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery; must have working knowledge of all PM schedules.
  • Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers, panels, conduit, machinery, and new systems; assist contractors, as needed.
  • Perform building and ground maintenance, with safety and environmental understanding.
