Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor-3rd Shift

The opportunity is for a 3rd shift role (10:30pm - 7am Monday - Friday) where the supervisor will oversee the daily activities of maintenance personnel, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This includes training, developing, and mentoring direct reports, and leading a team in the maintenance of production equipment, prioritizing based on production schedules. The role involves monitoring KPIs for improvement opportunities, conducting performance evaluations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement. Assistance to other shift supervisors is also expected.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Engineering or closely related technical discipline or equivalent military / trade experience.
- 3 years experience in an operations or manufacturing environment.
- Advanced SAP skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to work on cross-functional teams
- Effective resource planning skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced work environment while maintaining attention to detail

Responsibilities
- Supervises daily activities of maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with company policies/procedures.
- Trains, develops, and mentors direct reports.
- Supervises and leads a team involved in the maintenance of production equipment taking into account production schedules and priorities.
- Monitors and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Conducts regular performance evaluations, provides feedback, and addresses any performance or disciplinary issues as needed.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support organizational goals.
- Assists other supervisors on different shifts as needed.
