About The Position

The Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor oversees the maintenance department, ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of all manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, along with proven leadership capabilities in a manufacturing or industrial setting. The supervisor is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance, as well as managing a team of maintenance personnel. The position also involves ensuring safety procedures are followed and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience with manufacturing software/ERP, MS Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to apply basic to intermediate mathematical concepts.
  • Working knowledge of measurements, tolerances, and conversions (standard and metric systems).
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to react with urgency to achieve objectives and deadlines despite obstacles and time pressures.

  • Technical degree or certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • OSHA 10/30 preferred.
  • Maintenance-related certifications (electrical, mechanical, PLC) a plus.
