About The Position

Cresline Plastic Pipe Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic for its plant in Corsicana, Texas. The role is responsible for maintaining the continuous operation and efficiency of manufacturing equipment and machinery. The mechanic troubleshoots and repairs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and performs preventive maintenance on production equipment. The position requires mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Be able to work any 8-hour shift, with flexibility for on-call or overtime work as needed.
Speak, read, and communicate fluently in English.
Have the physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy equipment.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and strict adherence to safety procedures.
Be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a manufacturing maintenance mechanic or industrial experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
Strong mechanical, electrical (systems and controls), hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Hands-on welding and machine shop experience.
Relevant trade certificates.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems.
Replace defective parts and components as needed.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment issues.
Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
