About The Position

The Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic II works in a manufacturing or production environment and performs mechanical and/or electrical repair. The role calls for knowledge of fabrication, machine shop tools, hydraulics and/or pneumatics, and the ability to read and follow schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints. The job also requires frequent physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds and bending, stooping, twisting, and turning. Prior experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts is relevant; employees must be certified before operating a forklift at the company facility.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with mechanical and/or electrical repair.
• Knowledge of fabrication, machine shop tools, hydraulics and/or pneumatics.
• Ability to read and follow schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently bend, stoop, twist, and turn.
• Manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance.
• Ability to work as part of a larger team and prioritize a safe work environment.

Nice To Haves

• Limited Maintenance Electrical (LME) License preferred.
• OSHA 10 and CPR are nice to have.
• Prior experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Previous forklift certification preferred; certification is required before operating a forklift at the company facility.

Responsibilities
