Manufacturing Maintenance Manager
About The Position
Worldwide Foam is expanding and investing in new equipment, launching new manufacturing capabilities, and seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Manager to be a key member of their leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to build a world-class maintenance program supporting extrusion, compounding, and XLPE manufacturing operations. The manager will influence equipment decisions, lead capital improvement projects, develop preventative maintenance strategies, and scale the maintenance department. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on solving problems, improving processes, reducing downtime, and creating systems for optimal manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Takes ownership, leads by example, and challenges the status quo for continuous improvement.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with extrusion, plastics processing, compounding, laminating, or similar industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
- Lead all maintenance activities across the manufacturing facility, including production equipment, building systems, utilities, and future expansion projects.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and leadership teams to maximize uptime, improve reliability, and support operational excellence.
- Manage vendors, contractors, maintenance budgets, spare parts inventories, and long-term facility improvement initiatives.
