A day in the life involves arriving early, checking overnight output, and walking the floor to greet operators. The role requires aligning materials and priorities for the day, conducting quick huddles to set safety and quality expectations, and staying close to the action to coach team members, unblock workflow, and monitor takt time. Throughout the shift, the Team Lead tracks progress, trains new hires on standard work, escalates equipment issues promptly, and helps maintain a clean and audit-ready area. The role concludes by updating leadership on production targets and preparing the next team for a smooth handoff. We operate on 12-hour alternative work schedules (AWS) to support continuous production. The training period uses a standard 8-hour shift schedule, which may include 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday – Friday) or 2:15 PM – 10:45 PM (Monday – Friday). Post-training, the schedule transitions to a 12-hour shift, which may include Weekend Day (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) or Weekend Night (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule. Schedules typically follow 3–4 days per week (36–48 hours). Final shift assignment will be confirmed at the time of offer.
