About The Position

The Manufacturing Leadership Program (MLP) is designed to prepare candidates for technical or engineering roles within our manufacturing facilities, while also exposing them to leadership training early on that will help accelerate their careers with many post program career paths available, including Plant Leadership roles. Manufacturing Leadership Program participants complete the entirety of the program at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant. During this time, participants will be mentored by seasoned technical, operations, and maintenance professionals. The program will have rotations in Technical, TPM, and Operations, with the availability of a cross-functional assignment at the end of the training per the candidate’s interests. The program spans 24 to 30 months. At the conclusion of the Manufacturing Leadership Program, you are placed in a full-time assignment as a Manufacturing Engineer or Technical Leader at a North American Owens Corning manufacturing plant.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant major and/or field
Previous relevant internships/co-ops in a manufacturing setting
Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations
Willingness and flexibility to relocate (assistance provided)
